It’s another beautiful day as I write this and I hope it’s just as nice wherever you happen to be reading it.
The Turkish Get Up (TGU) is a great exercise for building core strength, hip and shoulder stability and joint mobility throughout the body, but as with most exercises, it needs to be done correctly if you want to get the most benefit from it.
It’s also an exercise that we are seeing recommended by a lot of physiotherapists lately for helping clients rehab after injuries.
Our next workshop is dedicated to learning the TGU and is taking place on Wednesday 17th July from 7.15pm to 8.30pm in our Cork facility.
It’s free for members (just book it through your Glofox app) and €20 for non-members who can contact 021 4882288 to book there place.
In the meantime, here are 3 common mistakes to avoid if TGU’s are a part of your current program, or you plan on using them in the near future.
