3 quick question for you today. But you’re going to have to dig deep to really understand them. They’re so simple that that’s the only way you’ll be answer them.
It’s a bit like the scene from Good Will Hunting where Robin Williams character says something so simple that it doesn’t hit home for a few moments.
When it comes to getting fit and healthy and enjoying a great quality of life, people are always looking for the big reason for ‘WHY’.
People often ask me what’s the point in getting stronger, fitter, healthier, etc. to which I always reply “What’s the point in doing anything?”
If you’re in a bad place at the moment then it’s your responsibility to come up with the point, nobody elses.
So if you’re in a rut, take a 5 minutes too sit down and ask yourself these 3 questions. Write down the answers and read them out loud to really get the full impact of them.
1) How do I truly feel right now? Deep down with regard to my quality of life and long-term health. With regard to how it’s affecting my relationships, family time, sense of worth? How do I truly feel?
2) What is this robbing from my life?
3) What am I going to do about it?
If you’re in a bad place and you’ve given those questions the attention they deserve, you should now have a clear picture of your current situation, you’re big WHY for making the necessary changes and a clear path for how to move forward.
Keep it simple because the more complex it gets the more likely you are to fail.
